China National Petroleum Corp. started construction on two projects in China’s northwest region of Xinjiang with a combined investment cost of 9.1 billion yuan, the China Daily reported.
The Chinese oil and gas company started building a 6.2 billion yuan natural gas network in the region’s south that is expected to begin operation in 2012, the newspaper said, citing an unidentified company official.
China National Petroleum also started a 2.9 billion yuan fertilizer project in Korla city, China Daily said, citing Vice President Zhou Jiping. |
